We have seen incredible progress in the improvements at the hall and have scheduled more work days to continue along that path. There will be a regular business meeting on Wednesday, September 12th and a potluck and special program on the 26th see below for details... The website is on the horizon and a calendar for you to check easily. Stay tuned for that!

There have been some requests for work parties on week night evenings so this coming Wednesday evening I will be there at 6:30 for a couple of hours to paint. Please let me know if you plan to come. Thanks! Alice

Wednesday September 26th Potluck and Program 6:30 Potluck, 7:30 Program- El Dorado County League of Women Voters

We will be joined by Kathy McCoy, President of the El Dorado County League of Women Voters. She and Betsy Kerr will give a brief introduction to the League of Women Voters, their mission and their actions during election season. They will then give us their advocacy speech on the initiatives being presented on the November 6th Ballot. These will be the positions of the League of Women Voters of California, supporting some propositions and explaining why they aren’t supporting others. It is always interesting to hear the thinking that a nonpartisan organization applies to current issues. There are even issues on which the League remains “Neutral”. Please mark your calendars for this important and informative program!
